About the role

Medical Imaging Software Development team at Philips builds advanced MR imaging solutions. The Software Technologist II leads design, development, and delivery of clinical software features, collaborates with clinical science and product teams, and drives architectural quality and innovation. Bangalore, hybrid (3 days onsite per week).

What you’ll do

• Design and implement advanced clinical software features for Neuro MR solutions
• Own end‑to‑end feature lifecycle from concept to release
• Develop high‑level and detailed software designs aligned with system requirements
• Lead design reviews, FMEAs, and technical discussions
• Collaborate with Clinical Science, product management, and system architects
• Leverage AI‑based tooling to improve development efficiency
• Contribute to innovation initiatives such as adaptive imaging
• Support early‑stage solution development and technology exploration

What you’ll bring

• 6-10 years MR imaging experience
• Strong C++ and Python programming
• Clinical software feature development
• Software architecture and system design
• Imaging algorithms and reconstruction expertise
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools
• Mentoring and guiding technical teams
• Knowledge of regulated software quality processes
