DVA Modelers Expert

About the role

This role supports an IT Services and IT Consulting client by developing and maintaining high-quality DVA models for automotive body, exterior, and interior components. Day-to-day work includes creating and modifying models from design requirements and engineering specifications, collaborating with design and engineering teams to meet quality and dimensional standards, analyzing design feasibility, and supporting design iterations and optimization. The position is based in Chennai or Hyderabad and is on-site.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain high-quality DVA models for automotive body, exterior, and interior components.
• Create and modify models based on design requirements, engineering specifications, and project guidelines.
• Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure DVA models meet required quality and dimensional standards.
• Analyze design feasibility and identify potential issues during the modeling process.
• Support design iterations, modifications, and optimization based on project requirements.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of modeling deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve modeling and design-related challenges.
• Follow established modeling standards, processes, and quality requirements.

What you’ll bring

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in DVA modeling or automotive design.
• Strong hands-on experience with VisVSA — mandatory.
• Domain expertise in Automotive Body, Exterior, or Interior.
• Strong understanding of automotive design and modeling processes.
• Ability to interpret design requirements and translate them into accurate DVA models.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
