About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific Biostatistics team leads statistical strategy for complex clinical programs. The Senior Biostatistician II drives study design, sample size, analysis plans, and oversees multi‑disciplinary project execution while mentoring junior statisticians. Based in Bangalore, hybrid work model with on‑site collaboration, supporting global regulatory and client engagements.

What you’ll do

Lead statistical methodology for complex protocols and NDA projects
Develop and review analysis plans, sample size calculations, and statistical sections of regulatory documents
Oversee database specifications, coordinate with programmers and data management
Prepare reports, manuscripts, and regulatory submissions
Manage project budgets and communicate scope changes
Represent department to clients, sponsors, and regulatory agencies
Guide junior statisticians and contribute to hiring recommendations

What you’ll bring

6+ years biostatistics experience
Master's in statistics or related field
Advanced SAS programming (BASE, STAT, MACRO, GRAPH)
Expertise in clinical trial design and analysis
Strong project management across multiple studies
Mentoring and team leadership skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
