About the role

NAB Innovation Centre India drives technology excellence to deliver faster, personalized experiences for customers. As a Performance Engineering Manager you will lead a high‑performing team to build automated performance testing frameworks, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure application scalability and resilience across digital channels. Bengaluru, hybrid work model (Hybrid), with opportunities to shape enterprise‑scale performance engineering solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and mentor a Performance Engineering team to drive automation‑first testing practices
  • Define and execute the Performance Engineering strategy and roadmap
  • Design reusable frameworks that generate performance test scripts from APIs and application metadata
  • Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates and automated reporting
  • Partner with Platform, Architecture, SRE and Product teams to ensure scalability and resilience
  • Drive adoption of Performance‑Testing‑as‑Code and self‑service capabilities for developers
  • Explore AI/GenAI solutions for script generation, workload modeling and anomaly detection
  • Support capacity planning, resilience testing and performance optimization across cloud and on‑premise environments

What you’ll bring

  • 16+ years in Performance Engineering, Quality Engineering, SRE or DevOps
  • 3+ years leading engineering teams
  • Strong Java and/or Python development experience
  • Expertise with JMeter, Gatling, k6, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter or NeoLoad
  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms
  • Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud‑native architectures
  • Hands‑on CI/CD integration using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab
  • Familiarity with Terraform and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Datadog
