Executive / Senior Executive – General Accounting

About the role

Finance Operations team overseeing general accounting across NEC's global units. Leads end‑to‑end financial closing, GL entries, intercompany processing and SAP Finance module management while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Based in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Pune with an on‑site work model, managing a team of executives ranging from entry to senior levels.

What you’ll do

• Oversee financial closing activities and GL reconciliations
• Prepare and post standard and complex journal entries
• Manage intercompany invoicing, payments and reconciliations
• Update SAP fixed asset module and run depreciation
• Coordinate with finance, tax, treasury and business units to resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Provide audit support and monitor SLA/KPI performance
• Create data trackers for monitoring activities

What you’ll bring

Postgraduate or bachelor’s degree

Nice to have

• 2-4 years experience in RTR process
• 4-6 years experience in shared services
• Team management of executives
• SAP Finance module expertise
• Microsoft Office proficiency
