Data Platform Architect

About the role

Accenture Data Platform team builds enterprise‑scale lakehouse solutions on Databricks, enabling secure, governed data products across multiple industries. The Data Platform Architect designs end‑to‑end blueprints, leads implementation of Unity Catalog, Delta Lake pipelines, and integrates analytics tools while guiding cross‑functional data science and analytics initiatives. Role based in major Indian hubs – Bengaluru, Indore, Gurugram, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Bhubaneswar – with on‑site work at the assigned location.

What you’ll do

• Architect data platform blueprints and oversee end‑to‑end implementation
• Design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Delta Live Tables and Auto Loader
• Implement Unity Catalog governance, access policies, and data classification
• Integrate Power BI, Tableau, and Looker with Databricks for live reporting
• Guide cross‑functional teams across data science, analytics, and platform engineering
• Lead adoption of advanced features such as Mosaic AI, Vector Search, and Model Serving
