About the role

Auto Commercial Solutions team at J.P. Morgan provides floorplan, real estate, acquisition and working capital loans to over 500 franchised auto dealers. The Credit Risk Manager leads a team of Credit Officers overseeing a $3 billion portfolio, ensuring credit quality, regulatory compliance and driving process improvements. Mumbai, India, on-site with secondary location in Bengaluru, India.

What you’ll do

Manage team of Credit Officers and oversee credit decisions
Ensure credit proposals meet quality standards and policy compliance
Monitor portfolio for early warning signs and troubled credits
Present recommendations to senior management and risk forums
Lead change initiatives to improve controls and efficiencies

What you’ll bring

15+ years commercial banking/lending experience
Automotive captive banking experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
MBA or advanced degree preferred
Leadership and executive presence

Nice to have

Supervisory experience of professional staff
