About the role

The Analyst, Business Systems – Financial Systems role at ICU Medical focuses on collaborating with business stakeholders to capture requirements and design solutions for Oracle Financials and related modules. The analyst documents functional specifications, writes test scripts, and trains users, ensuring smooth implementation of projects across General Ledger, Purchasing, Payables, and other E-Business Suite components. Responsibilities include liaising between business and technical teams, identifying process improvements, and supporting interfaces with non-Oracle systems. The position requires strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, along with at least seven years of experience in Oracle E-Business R12 and financial processes. The role is hybrid, based in Chennai, India, with occasional travel (<5%).

What you’ll do

  • Implement projects from initiation to implementation, including requirements gathering and functional design
  • Write test scripts, drive test planning and execution, and train end users
  • Develop reports, customizations, interfaces, and extensions for Oracle applications
  • Act as liaison between business users and technical team members
  • Identify process improvements and implement change with business partners
  • Support and enhance Oracle Applications interfaces integrated with non-Oracle systems
  • Assist end users with day-to-day application troubleshooting
  • Participate in 24/7 department on-call program
  • Work on special projects as assigned

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related IT field
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business R12
  • Minimum 7 years experience with Oracle Financials and Planning as a Business Analyst
