About the role

Seeking a seasoned Data Architect to spearhead a Generative AI initiative for Photon Group. The role focuses on designing and implementing end‑to‑end AI solutions on Azure, leveraging OpenAI technologies, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. Candidates must possess deep expertise in Azure Data & Analytics PaaS services, Python, APIs, and machine learning frameworks, along with experience in CI/CD, ARM templates, and PowerShell. Responsibilities include evaluating Azure services, building scalable AI pipelines, creating architectural blueprints, and collaborating with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, 5+ years of large‑scale data and analytics experience, and strong knowledge of Azure and AI solutions. Azure Solutions Architect certification is preferred. This full‑time, on‑site role is based in India and offers the opportunity to shape cutting‑edge AI capabilities.

What you’ll do

• Design and architect AI solutions leveraging Azure and OpenAI technologies
• Evaluate and recommend Azure services and OpenAI tech for scalability and cost
• Build end-to-end AI pipelines: data acquisition, preprocessing, prompt engineering, API deployment, monitoring
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for high availability, fault tolerance, security
• Produce architectural design docs, solution blueprints, technical specs
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, stakeholders to translate requirements

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years experience with large-scale data and analytics solutions
• Proficiency in Azure Data & Analytics PaaS services (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Python, APIs, and machine learning frameworks
• Experience with Azure ARM templates, PowerShell, CI/CD using Azure DevOps
• Ability to design end-to-end AI solutions and data pipelines

Nice to have

• Bachelor's or master's in Data Science, Statistics, Math, Physics, or related discipline
• Experience with OpenAI technologies (GPT-3, GPT-4, reinforcement learning)
• Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations for Azure and AI solutions
• Azure Solutions Architect certification preferred
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
