Manager, Finance and Accounting Advisory Services - Technical Accounting

About the role

Finance Advisory Services team provides specialized technical accounting guidance to clients under US GAAP and SEC regulations. The Manager leads complex accounting research, prepares technical memos, and oversees external financial reporting such as 10‑K and 10‑Q filings. Works hybrid from Hyderabad, collaborating with client stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to implement ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 805 projects.

What you’ll do

• Provide deep technical accounting expertise and research under US GAAP and SEC requirements
• Lead implementation and interpretation of accounting standards such as ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 805
• Prepare and review external financial reports including 10‑K, 10‑Q, 8‑K, and proxy statements
• Design and implement accounting policies to address technical issues
• Support purchase accounting, opening balance sheet prep, and cash‑to‑accrual conversions
• Assess and enhance financial close processes for accuracy and timeliness
• Act as liaison with external auditors and manage audit preparation
• Mentor and supervise staff on technical accounting topics

What you’ll bring

• CA/CPA preferred
• 5+ years public or technical accounting experience
• Advanced US GAAP and SEC reporting knowledge
• Expertise in ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 805
• Strong research and documentation skills
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
