About the role

Cognizant seeks an Azure Data Engineer in Hyderabad to build full-stack AI solutions and drive enterprise value. The role involves leveraging Azure data services like Synapse and Data Factory to engineer robust data systems. This is a hybrid position based in Telangana, India.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data engineering solutions using Azure services
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory
• Perform data analysis and processing using PySpark
• Manage and optimize data storage in Azure Data Lake
• Utilize Azure Synapse Analytics for data warehousing tasks
• Write efficient SQL queries for data manipulation
• Collaborate on building full-stack AI solutions
• Ensure data integrity and performance within RDBMS environments

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong proficiency in SQL
• Hands-on experience with Python and/or SQL
• Solid experience with relational databases (RDBMS)
• Practical experience with Azure Data Lake
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics
• Experience with Azure Data Factory
• Experience with PySpark
