Gen AI Architect

About the role

Technology team at Tata Consultancy Services drives enterprise AI transformation. As a Gen AI Architect you will design and deliver scalable Generative AI solutions on Azure, lead multi‑agent orchestration, and define end‑to‑end AI architecture including RAG, prompt design, and governance. Role based in Bengaluru with options in Kochi, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Design scalable, secure, production‑grade Generative AI solutions on Azure
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical leadership to delivery teams
• Guide teams in multi‑agent orchestration and AI assistant development
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms and ensure best practices
• Define end‑to‑end AI architecture covering RAG, prompt engineering, and governance
• Collaborate directly with customers to drive solutioning and stakeholder management
• Conduct architecture reviews and ensure compliance with AI governance
• Mentor and train engineering teams on AI best practices

What you’ll bring

• 10-20 years IT experience
• Solution architecture and system design expertise
• Deep Python proficiency for enterprise‑grade applications
• Hands‑on design of GenAI solutions using Azure OpenAI/Azure AI Foundry
• Experience with Copilot and Copilot Studio for AI assistants
• Multi‑agent orchestration and intelligent agent system design
• End‑to‑end AI architecture including RAG, prompt design, embeddings, API layers
• Familiarity with vector databases, LLMOps, and AI governance frameworks
