About the role

Syniverse’s Data Science team builds AI‑driven solutions to keep global communications seamless. As a senior data scientist, you’ll partner with engineering and product teams to identify data opportunities, preprocess structured and unstructured data, and develop machine‑learning models for classification, detection, and prediction. The role is based in Bangalore, India, with a hybrid work model allowing flexible remote days.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data‑driven opportunities
• Identify and facilitate collection of valuable data sources
• Analyze data to discover trends and patterns using visualization techniques
• Preprocess structured and unstructured data
• Build, execute, and validate machine‑learning models for classification, detection, and prediction
• Propose solutions for industry challenges such as spam detection

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst
• BS/BA in Computer Science or Engineering; graduate degree in Math or Data Science preferred
