The Design Engineer (Control & Protection) in Bangalore, India develops and implements engineering solutions for product design and testing, conducts rigorous validation to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards, and manages product development projects from inception to completion while coordinating with cross-functional teams. The role continuously improves product designs based on testing data to enhance quality and performance.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and implement engineering solutions for product design and testing, ensuring full compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications
• Lead comprehensive testing and validation of product designs to verify reliability, functionality, and performance under real-world conditions
• Manage and oversee product development projects from inception through to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of milestones and adherence to budgets
• Conduct in-depth analysis of testing data to identify potential areas for design optimization and performance enhancement
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment between design, testing objectives, and broader business goals
• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities
• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or any relevant field
• 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in product, production, program, quality, and system testing
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and testing-operating systems
• Ability to design and develop engineering solutions for product design and testing
• Experience ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications
• Capability to manage engineering projects from inception to completion
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
