About the role

Data Governance team at Accenture establishes and enforces data governance policies to ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. The practitioner collaborates with stakeholders to define data standards, manage data collection, storage, access, and drive stewardship initiatives. Based in Chennai, on-site work model, the role mentors junior members and leads continuous improvement of governance frameworks.

What you’ll do

• Establish and enforce data governance policies
• Define and implement data standards and policies
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data quality and security
• Mentor junior team members on governance practices
• Coordinate initiatives aligning governance with organizational goals

What you’ll bring

• 5 years experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks
• Experience defining data standards and policies
• Proficiency with data management tools
• Excellent communication with stakeholders
