Executive Non-Industrial Quality Assurance

About the role

The Executive N/I-- Quality Assurance role at the Dahej, GJ, IN facility is responsible for implementing and enforcing quality assurance and control lab procedures. Day-to-day work includes physical verification of processes, maintaining documentation, supporting other departments on RM, PM, Intermediate, and Finished Goods quality, and leading Kaizen/Smart test improvements. The position also covers quarterly stock-taking support, testing equipment asset care and 5S, proposing SFIs, sending MIS reports to stakeholders, and collaborating with other plant locations and the Research and Technology department.

What you’ll do

• Implement laid-down procedures and systems in the area of work
• Ensure implementation of laid-down procedures through physical verification by self or subordinate
• Maintain all applicable documents in soft copy or hard copy as applicable
• Provide support to other departments in ensuring quality of RM, PM, Intermediate, or Finished Goods
• Lead the team to bring improvements in the area of work by Kaizen / Smart test
• Support conduct of stock taking at every quarter end or as per planned timelines per written guidelines
• Ensure asset care for all testing equipment and 5S of the area
• Propose SFIs (Suggestion For Improvement) wherever modification brings improvement to the process

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Control Lab
• Experience handling SAP as an ERP tool
• Ability to implement laid-down procedures and systems in the area of work
• Skill in ensuring implementation through physical verification by self or subordinate
• Expertise in working with SAP and other platforms
• Ability to maintain applicable documents in soft copy and hard copy forms
• Capability to provide support to other departments on quality of RM, PM, Intermediate, or Finished Goods
• Knowledge of complying with defined organizational processes
