About the role
FinOps Digital AP team at Amazon focuses on end-to-end accuracy of digital accounts payable. The Sr FinOps Analyst resolves complex invoice payment issues, builds SQL queries to analyze millions of records, and drives Lean/Six Sigma process improvements. Hyderabad, on-site role with collaboration across global stakeholders and vendor partners.
What you’ll do
- Investigate and resolve invoice payment exceptions
- Develop scalable solutions to reduce exception rates
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles
- Partner with business stakeholders to address unpaid balances
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and anomalies
- Build executive-ready reports and scorecards
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot, macros, VBA)
- 3+ years finance operations, AP or related experience
Nice to have
- SQL query development
- Oracle Financial Application expertise
- Data analysis and reporting
- Process improvement using Lean and Six Sigma
