Principal Software Engineer

About the role

Eurofins IT Solutions in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for its Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing (BPT) division, supporting the Eurofins Quality Management System (eQMS). The role reports to an Engineering Manager and focuses on designing, developing, and delivering scalable full stack applications using Angular, .NET Core, and Azure Cosmos DB, with involvement in Azure Data Factory integrations and enterprise data migration. The position is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week on-site with cab facility provided.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web applications using Angular, .NET Core, Web API, and Azure Cosmos DB
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end components using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern UI practices
• Develop secure, reliable, and maintainable backend services using .NET Core, REST APIs, microservices principles, and cloud-native design patterns
• Design and optimize Cosmos DB data models, queries, partitioning strategies, and performance patterns
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of engineering practices
• Support Azure Data Factory pipelines, data migration, data validation, reconciliation, and integration activities
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and promote clean code, secure development, and maintainable architecture

What you’ll bring

• MCA or Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Proven full stack development experience with Angular, .NET Core, and Azure Cosmos DB
• Exposure to Azure Data Factory and enterprise data migration activities
• Strong hands-on experience in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Strong backend experience using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Core Web API, and RESTful services
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB data modelling, indexing, partitioning, and query optimization
• Working knowledge of Azure Data Factory, ETL/ELT concepts, and data pipelines
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
