Associate Compliance Manager
About the role
Invesco's Global Regulatory Reporting (GRR) team, a sub-function of Global Compliance, seeks an Associate Compliance Manager to monitor, prepare, and file regulatory reports and disclosures while conducting analytical and monitoring activities. Day-to-day work includes reviewing daily through quarterly reports, analyzing data for substantial shareholding reporting, staying current on regulatory changes across USA regions, and interacting with global compliance and legal teams. The role also involves people leadership—mentoring, coaching, workload prioritization, and capability building—within Invesco's hybrid workplace model requiring at least three days per week in the designated Hyderabad, Telangana office.
What you’ll do
- Monitoring and reviewing of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
- Preparing documentation to support reviews and substantiate adequate processes/controls to meet regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Analyzing data and preparing documentation to support substantial shareholding reporting to meet global regulatory requirements
- Understanding regulatory requirements in America's regions and acting to meet all compliance performance metrics
- Reviewing substantial shareholdings documents prepared to meet Global regulatory reporting requirements
- Handling new countries' substantial shareholding monitoring and reporting independently based on updated regulations
- Staying current of regulatory changes related to reporting thresholds, deadlines, and updated/new disclosure forms across various countries in the USA and updating procedures and applications accordin
- Interacting with global compliance and legal teams to assess, document, monitor, report, develop, coordinate, and implement compliance monitoring activities, ongoing testing and related controls
What you’ll bring
- Total relevant work experience of 10-15 years with an investment advisor or mutual fund group in a Compliance or regulatory environment
- Bachelors or Master's (preferred) degree in Commerce / Finance
- Knowledge of Financial products and Mutual fund industry
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Understanding of regulatory changes and new reporting requirements
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues across different time zones
- People management experience including team leadership, mentoring, coaching, performance enablement, workload management and development of team members
Nice to have
Familiarity with trading systems and compliance components such as Charles River, Bloomberg would be given preference
