About the role
SAS9 team at SAS R&D Pune builds and maintains SAS 9 platform solutions. The Fullstack Developer designs, develops, and scales mid‑tier services, REST APIs, and front‑end components using Java, Spring, React and related technologies, while collaborating on deployment automation tools. Pune, on-site, hybrid schedule with mentorship from senior developers.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain SAS Platform code base
- Design and implement scalable, performant services and UI components
- Collaborate on technical choices and architecture decisions
- Contribute to deployment automation tools and scripts
- Write unit, integration, and regression tests
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews
- Ensure quality standards and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Support cross‑team initiatives within the SAS9 group
What you’ll bring
- 2-5 years of software development experience
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, and REST API design
- Experience with ReactJS or similar JavaScript frameworks
- Knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git
- Understanding of XML, JSON, and SQL
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
- Exposure to Linux/Windows environments
