Senior Technical Consultant Shift Lead, Shared Data ODSP Tenant Migration

About the role

Shared Data/ODSP Factory at Kyndryl builds and runs migration factories that move collaboration content across Microsoft 365 tenants. The Senior Technical Consultant Shift Lead drives on‑shift technical delivery, executes migration waves, triages failures, validates readiness, enforces quality gates and produces evidence packs while coordinating handovers and escalations. Hybrid work model based in Bangalore with additional locations in Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai and Greater Noida, India.

What you’ll do

• Lead on‑shift technical execution of SharePoint/OneDrive migration waves ensuring runbook adherence
• Own shift triage for failures including throttling, permissions issues and metadata exceptions
• Validate source/target readiness, migration accounts and cutover schedules
• Configure, schedule and monitor migration jobs using native and third‑party tools
• Enforce quality gates and validate permission parity and metadata fidelity
• Maintain shift backlog, prioritize tasks and produce evidence packs per wave
• Coordinate handovers across shifts ensuring continuity of long‑running jobs
• Drive continuous improvement by updating runbooks and operational dashboards
• Manage escalations with vendor and platform support, providing diagnostic context

What you’ll bring

• Delivered at least one production tenant‑to‑tenant migration of SharePoint Online or OneDrive content
• Deep expertise in SharePoint Online/OneDrive architecture, permissions and metadata
• Hands‑on experience with migration tools such as ShareGate or Quest ODM
• Proven ability to run migration operations in a factory model with scheduling, monitoring and quality gates
• Strong understanding of security and compliance impacts in migrated content
