About the role
Seeking a Senior Technical Architect to spearhead design, scaling, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure, with a 70/30 focus on core networking and security. The role drives architecture for large‑scale, mission‑critical platforms within the Infrastructure Architecture team.
What you’ll do
- Lead architecture, design, and enhancement of enterprise network platforms.
- Drive network scalability, performance optimization, and resilience initiatives.
- Create and maintain HLD and LLD documentation.
- Provide architectural guidance for LAN, WAN, DC, and cloud‑connected networks.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and security teams for secure, stable design.
- Review existing architectures and recommend improvements and modernization.
- Support implementation teams with design validation and technical direction.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise standards, governance, and best practices.
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical decision‑making forums.
Nice to have
- Experience in banking or financial services.
- Exposure to regulatory‑driven or high‑availability platforms.
- Architecture or networking certifications (CCNP, CCIE, etc.).
Skills
10+ years enterprise network engineering and architecture experience.Hands‑on Cisco networking technologies.Deep knowledge of LAN, WAN, DC, routing & switching.Network security concepts: Firewalls, VPN, ZTNA, STN.HLD/LLD documentation expertise.Experience in large‑scale, mission‑critical environments.Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership.Ability to integrate security into network architecture.
