About the role

Amazon Logistics Finance team drives financial performance for Amazon's logistics operations. The Senior Financial Analyst partners with business leaders to own cost management, financial reporting, forecasting, and data-driven decision support. Bangalore office, on-site work model, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Perform financial reporting, ad-hoc analyses and modeling
• Present recommendations to business leadership on strategic decisions
• Provide controllership and build transparent finance processes
• Facilitate financial reviews and drive cost management initiatives
• Collaborate with accounting to close monthly, quarterly, and annual books

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years tax, finance or related analytical experience
• 4+ years accounts receivable or payable experience
• 4+ years applying financial KPIs to analyses
• 4+ years process improvement with automation
• Six Sigma Black Belt
• Advanced SQL for data mining

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business
• MBA or CPA preferred
• Experience with Tableau
• Experience with large-scale data mining tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos)
• Familiarity with financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
