Enterprise Data Advisor

About the role

Enterprise Data Office at Franklin Templeton drives data governance and enterprise‑wide data quality. The Enterprise Data Advisor bridges business lines and the data office, establishing standards, guiding data‑driven solutions, and educating teams on data assets. Based in Hyderabad, India, this role works a 2 PM‑11 PM IST shift on‑site, collaborating with data owners, stewards and technology partners to deliver trusted data at scale.

What you’ll do

• Establish and maintain firm‑wide data standards and governance processes
• Develop strategies to improve data consistency and confidence for decision making
• Facilitate delivery of data‑driven solutions for assigned business lines
• Support transition from legacy point solutions to governed enterprise data
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and recommend data quality solutions
• Partner with Data Owners, Stewards and Enterprise Data Office specialists
• Develop and deliver data literacy training and adoption programs
• Collaborate with technology teams and Business Relationship Managers

What you’ll bring

• 5–8 years data management or governance experience
• Experience supporting data initiatives within a line of business
• Knowledge of data ownership, quality, cataloging and lifecycle concepts
• Working knowledge of modern data ecosystems, cloud platforms and BI tools
• Strong stakeholder influence and relationship management
• Excellent communication, facilitation and documentation skills
