Senior Business Analyst & Solution Lead - Finance, Controlling & Treasury (SAP FI/CO)

About the role

Smiths Detection seeks a Senior Business Analyst & Solution Lead to drive global SAP Finance, Controlling, and Treasury strategy in Bengaluru. This role bridges business stakeholders and technology teams to lead process transformation, solution design, and governance for SAP ECC and S/4HANA. The position operates on-site with full-time employment.

What you’ll do

• Lead workshops with Finance Leadership and external auditors to gather requirements
• Conduct current-state assessments and future-state process design
• Provide subject matter expertise across Financial Accounting and Controlling
• Lead solution architecture and design activities for SAP solutions
• Support readiness assessments and migration strategy for S/4HANA
• Act as Global Process Owner for assigned finance processes
• Govern AMS providers, SAP partners, and third-party vendors
• Establish governance forums and steering committees

What you’ll bring

• 15+ years SAP experience as BA
• 10+ years SAP Finance Consulting
• 3+ Global Implementations
• 1+ SAP S/4HANA Programme
• Expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA Finance modules
• Strong knowledge of Treasury and Liquidity Management
• Experience with IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and APIs
• Executive stakeholder management and strategic thinking
