About the role

Wilhelmsen Port Services India Private Limited’s Chennai team seeks a Senior Application Support Engineer to lead resolution of complex Salesforce production issues. The role involves deep technical troubleshooting with Apex, LWC, Flows, and integrations, conducting root‑cause analysis, and driving permanent fixes with development teams. Engineers will also mentor junior staff, contribute to custom Salesforce development, and maintain SOPs and runbooks. On‑site work in Chennai with a focus on global port operations.

What you’ll do

• Own resolution of complex production issues
• Perform deep technical troubleshooting using Apex debugging, Developer Console, Workbench, logs, and monitoring tools
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive permanent fixes with development teams
• Contribute to custom Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, Flows, integrations)
• Support release activities including deployment validation, post‑release verification, and rollback support
• Mentor mid‑level and associate support engineers
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles
