About the role

Quest Global's Production Printing Systems team designs enterprise‑scale print workflow solutions. The Principal Software Architect leads architecture, defines cloud‑native strategies, and drives performance optimization for high‑throughput printing platforms. Based in India with an on‑site work model, the role collaborates with global customers and offshore engineering teams.

What you’ll do

• Define end‑to‑end technical architecture for printing platforms
• Lead design of high‑volume print processing and RIP integration
• Drive cloud‑native and hybrid solution development
• Conduct architecture and code reviews and risk assessments
• Collaborate with product owners, OEM partners, and customers
• Guide performance tuning and scalability improvements
• Establish DevOps pipelines and monitoring practices
• Mentor engineering teams on best practices

What you’ll bring

• 12+ years software architecture experience
• Deep expertise in production printing workflows and technologies
• Proficiency in C# or C++
• Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes
• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure
• Design of distributed, event‑driven systems
• Leadership of global/offshore engineering teams
• Knowledge of PDF, PostScript, PCL standards
