About the role
Central Data and AI Product team at Paytm builds analytical products and datasets powering decision‑making across the company. The Senior Product Manager, Data Product leads a small team of PMs and an analyst, driving end‑to‑end data product development from discovery through adoption, partnering with engineering on AWS, Spark, and Superset stacks. Bengaluru, Karnataka, on‑site, hybrid schedule with occasional remote days, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Lead and grow a team of product managers and analysts
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements
- Collaborate with engineering on technical design and sprint planning
- Manage senior stakeholder communication and executive updates
- Utilize agentic tools like Claude Code and Cursor for rapid delivery
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years product management experience
- 3+ years managing product teams
- Strong SQL and data modelling skills
- Experience with AWS, Spark, EMR, Hive, Trino, Superset
- Knowledge of data governance and DPDPA
Nice to have
Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
