Compliance Apprentice

About the role

TATA STEEL LTD. offers a one-year Compliance Apprenticeship Training at Jamshedpur Continuous Annealing and Processing Company Private Limited (JCAPCPL) in Jamshedpur. Trainees will undergo on-the-job plant training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, receiving a stipend shared by Tata Steel Limited and the Government, and will be registered on the NATS 2.0 Apprenticeship Portal. On completion, candidates are assessed via written test and interview and may receive an apprenticeship completion certificate. The program does not guarantee employment, and candidates must arrange their own accommodation.

What you’ll do

• Undertake on-the-job plant training for one year under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and its latest amendments at JCAPCPL
• Register and participate through the NATS 2.0 Apprenticeship Portal
• Receive a stipend as per the Apprenticeship Act, shared by Tata Steel Limited and the Government per NATs and NAPs guidelines
• Undergo assessment through a written test and interview upon successful completion of the one-year training
• Be awarded a one-year apprenticeship completion certificate from JCAPCPL based on performance

What you’ll bring

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Metallurgical Engineering
• Qualification status: pass out or 2026 appearing candidates
• Passing year on or after 2021
• Age between 1st Aug 2001 and 1st August 2008 (both dates included)
• Not already done, left, or currently doing an apprenticeship with another organisation
• Willing to undergo one year of on-the-job plant training at JCAPCPL
