Senior Cost Manager

About the role

JLL’s Project and Development Services team in Mumbai seeks a Senior Cost Manager to lead cost control for real estate projects from pre-design through completion. The role involves managing project teams, developing cost plans, overseeing procurement, and ensuring budget adherence while mentoring staff. This is an on-site position requiring 48 scheduled weekly hours.

What you’ll do

• Lead project teams and monitor performance from pre-design to completion
• Develop clear project cost plans, budgets, and monthly reports
• Oversee contract administration, negotiations, and quality control systems
• Manage procurement, value engineering, and design change management
• Implement and maintain cost control systems and procedures
• Provide line management, coaching, and mentorship to subordinate professionals
• Participate in client meetings and represent JLL throughout projects
• Facilitate value engineering, risk mitigation, and life cycle costing exercises

What you’ll bring

• Proven track record in design, construction, and cost management
