About the role

EY GDS Assurance Digital team drives innovative AI solutions for assurance services. The senior AI engineer leads enterprise-wide Data and AI Governance frameworks, collaborates with multi‑disciplinary teams, and mentors governance specialists to deliver responsible AI products. Hyderabad, on-site, senior manager role focusing on AI governance, data quality, and client‑facing business development.

What you’ll do

• Define and implement Data and AI Governance policies and standards
• Engage with business, risk, compliance, and security teams to set governance requirements
• Lead Responsible AI initiatives including model governance and fairness
• Design data quality frameworks, controls, and remediation processes
• Develop governance metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting
• Mentor and build high‑performing governance teams
• Support business development activities and client presentations
• Drive multiple governance programs simultaneously

What you’ll bring

• 12-17 years experience in Data Governance or AI Governance
• Proven ability to design and implement enterprise‑wide governance frameworks
• Leadership of governance councils and stakeholder forums
• Program and project management experience
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication
• Experience with regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Expertise in AI governance for Generative and Agentic AI
• Proficiency with governance tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Informatica
