About the role

Risk Assurance team at HSBC focuses on ensuring robust control environments for traded risk across the bank. The Manager defines and scopes the Traded Risk Assurance function, reviews first‑line controls, and leads a team of professionals to monitor compliance and emerging risks. What you’ll do

• Define and scope Traded Risk Assurance function and ways of working
• Review and challenge first‑line control processes and regulatory reporting
• Monitor compliance with policies and emerging risk impacts
• Develop and maintain Risk and Control Library with standards
• Lead and develop a team of risk assurance professionals

What you’ll bring

• CA or MBA in Finance or related field
• 2-3 years experience in financial services internal audit or assurance
• Knowledge of market and counterparty credit risk reporting and metrics
• Experience with regulatory capital reporting and risk controls
• Strong writing and presentation skills
