About the role

Eurofins IT Solutions, Bengaluru team drives next‑generation applications and LIMS platforms for the Genomics business. As a Tech Lead – Java you will design, develop and modernize scalable enterprise‑scale Java platforms, own architecture decisions and mentor engineers while collaborating across DevOps, QA and product groups. Bengaluru, India, on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Lead end‑to‑end technical design and development of enterprise Java applications
• Own solution architecture for modules ensuring scalability and performance
• Drive modernization initiatives such as monolith‑to‑microservices and cloud adoption
• Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns and best practices
• Review architecture, code and design for quality and maintainability
• Mentor and guide engineers to build strong technical capability
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for seamless integration and delivery
• Act as technical escalation point for complex production issues

What you’ll bring

• 10–15 years Java development
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, REST API experience
• Microservices and distributed system design
• Cloud platforms and container orchestration (Azure, Docker, Kubernetes)
• CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Angular or React front‑end knowledge
• SQL Server and MongoDB expertise
• Domain‑driven design or enterprise integration patterns

Nice to have

Bachelors in Engineering or Masters in Computer Science
