Digital & Transformation team at West Pharmaceutical Services builds and maintains enterprise compute, virtualization, backup, and storage platforms to support critical healthcare manufacturing. The Senior Solution Architect designs, implements, and operates Dell PowerEdge servers, VMware vSphere 8.x environments, and backup solutions like Avamar, Veeam, and Data Domain, while providing on‑call support and vendor coordination. Bengaluru, KA, IN – hybrid work model, 15% travel required.

What you’ll do

• Implement and support Dell PowerEdge server infrastructure
• Deploy, configure, and administer VMware vSphere 8.x environments
• Implement and maintain backup solutions (Avamar, Veeam, Data Domain)
• Perform server builds, hypervisor installations, patching, and firmware upgrades
• Troubleshoot hardware, virtualization, storage, and backup issues
• Execute disaster recovery and backup restoration procedures
• Maintain Windows Server environments and apply security patches
• Participate in on‑call support rotation

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years infrastructure engineering experience
• Hands‑on Dell PowerEdge hardware
• VMware vSphere 8.x administration
• Avamar, Veeam, Data Domain backup management
• SAN/NAS storage concepts
• Windows Server 2016‑2025 administration
• PowerCLI or similar scripting
• Enterprise networking fundamentals
