About the role

Robotics Platform team at Medtronic develops next‑generation software for a Robotic Assisted Surgery platform, building real‑time systems for robotics, motion control, visualization, GPU acceleration and medical imaging. The Senior Software Engineer designs, implements and verifies C++14/17 code, collaborates with robotics, system engineering, clinical and quality teams, and ensures compliance with FDA/ISO standards. Hyderabad, hybrid work model, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Contribute across product lifecycle from requirements to release
• Create software design, implementation and verification artifacts
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements
• Support risk management and cybersecurity activities
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to architecture
• Participate in planning delivery, code quality and process improvements

What you’ll bring

• 8-10 years software development
• 3+ years customer‑facing products
• C++14/17, C#, WPF/MVVM
• OpenGL, CUDA, GPU programming
• Multithreading design and implementation
• Hardware/software interfacing
• Linux and Windows environments
• DevOps CI/CD tools (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins)
