About the role
KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services LLP is hiring an Audit Associate 1 to support the Holland audit engagement. The role involves auditing financial statements per country-specific statutory requirements, reviewing international companies' financial statements for compliance with legislative and accounting standards, and building relationships with onshore team members across locations. Based in Gurgaon, Haryana, India, the position follows a 9:00 am to 5:30 pm schedule subject to client deliverables and commitments.
What you’ll do
- Auditing financial statements of companies as per country-specific statutory requirements
- Building relationships with onshore team members sitting across different locations
- Reviewing financial statements of international companies for compliance with legislative and accounting standards, mathematical accuracy, and consistency
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Degree/Diploma in Finance or Accounting
- 0–1 year experience in a relevant field
- Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and demanding situations
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours, and work environments
Nice to have
- Book-keeping experience (beneficial but not essential)
- Proficiency/working knowledge of Adobe Professional (added advantage)
