Treasury Analyst, Back Office

About the role

Group Treasury Shared Service Center at WPP focuses on centralizing treasury operations across 110+ countries. The Treasury Analyst will manage trade lifecycle activities, ensure SOX‑compliant controls, maintain documentation and KYC records, and support treasury transformation projects. Bangalore, Hybrid (4 days onsite).

What you’ll do

• Centralize regional treasury processes and document controls
• Manage trade lifecycle activities and ensure accurate reporting
• Maintain treasury documentation, bank account records, and KYC compliance
• Drive process efficiencies and support treasury transformation initiatives
• Perform monthly General Computer Controls for ION Treasury system
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory requests
• Coordinate with front, middle office, banks, and internal stakeholders
• Oversee trade confirmations, settlements, and exception resolution

What you’ll bring

• 5-8 years corporate treasury experience
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle including FX, derivatives, swaps
• Experience with SWIFT payments and settlement exception handling
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and regulatory requirements
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Fluency in English (reading, speaking, writing)
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
• Experience with treasury systems a plus
