About the role

Global Supply Chain Organization at Amgen leads end-to-end product supply planning to ensure reliable patient supply. The Head directs a team of managers and senior associates, overseeing long‑range scenarios, monthly planning cycles, risk consolidation, and AI‑driven automation initiatives. Hyderabad, India, on‑site role with up to 25% travel.

What you’ll do

• Lead global product supply planning team
• Orchestrate long‑range and monthly planning cycles
• Present scenario analyses to senior leadership
• Drive automation and AI transformation initiatives
• Manage staff resource model and recruitment
• Ensure KPI monitoring of supply performance
• Collaborate across supply chain, manufacturing, finance, regulatory, and quality

What you’ll bring

• 12-17 years experience
• Doctorate degree +2 years or Master’s +4 years or Bachelor’s +6 years or Associate’s +10 years or High school +12 years

Nice to have

• Supervisory experience
• 7+ years in global pharma/biotech
• Demand/supply planning expertise
• Financial analysis (COGM, COGS, NPV)
• Process improvement mindset
• Cross‑functional communication
