About the role

Charles River Development (CRD), part of State Street, is hiring a Primary Systems Analyst, Officer for its Infrastructure Support team. The team designs, administers, and operates critical systems supporting clients' Production, Disaster Recovery, and Test environments for the Charles River IMS platform. Day-to-day, you will provide application administration and support, troubleshoot performance, manage patches and upgrades, assist with migrations, and automate services using scripting and third-party tools. This full-time role is based in Hyderabad, India.

What you’ll do

Provide application administration and support for client production Charles River IMS solutions, including user administration and privileges
Configure, test, and support software changes, operational processes, and interface/integration configurations
Assist in resolving escalated problems and migrate changes and problem resolutions to production environments
Ensure system availability and perform performance troubleshooting
Apply Charles River IMS and database software patches and perform version upgrades
Assist with Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery and support smooth transition of new clients to production operation
Work with vendors as partners to deliver a tightly integrated, seamless service to Charles River Clients
Participate in development, refinement, and continuous process improvement, including investigation, implementation, and operation of third-party tools to automate and streamline service delivery

What you’ll bring

BS degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a BA in Finance or Business with an IT concentration
Minimum of 11+ years of progressively responsible experience
Experience managing and supporting mission-critical production software applications
Expert in PowerShell development and scripting with demonstrable automation projects
Mainly working in Windows Servers (not Linux)
Hands-on scripting experience combined with scheduler tools such as BMC Control-M, Autosys, etc.
Experience with log aggregation tools such as Elastic (ELK) stack
Working knowledge of Azure Cloud

Nice to have

Experience with SQL, MS SQL Server
Nice to have – knowledge of Azure DevOps
Experience in DevOps (or related) technologies
Experience or familiarity with servers and networks
Charles River IMS or securities trading software experience
Background in portfolio management and trading system applications
Experience with databases, server operating systems, servers, networks, job scheduling software, system monitoring software, clusters/high availability systems, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity,
Experience with automation using scripting languages such as Python/Perl and PowerShell
