About the role
Amgen seeks a Specialist SAP Architect, Accounting to lead the transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA Intelligent Enterprise. The role focuses on designing, architecting, and implementing SAP S/4HANA Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and related sub‑ledger accounting solutions for Invoice-to-Settle processes. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into technical specifications, conducting architectural reviews, and driving AI/ML innovations to accelerate value. The candidate will collaborate with global partners, adhere to US GAAP/IFRS, and work within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Accounts Payable, VIM, and procurement processes is essential.
What you’ll do
- Design SAP S/4HANA VIM solutions and integrate third-party systems.
- Translate business requirements into technical specs.
- Align system build/configuration with business goals and best practices.
- Conduct architectural reviews, assess risks, recommend mitigation.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives using SAFe.
- Develop AI/ML solutions to accelerate value.
What you’ll bring
Doctorate +1 yr OR Master’s 4-6 yrs OR Bachelor’s 6-8 yrs OR Diploma 10-12 yrs SAP experience
