About the role

Elsevier Quality Assurance team delivers high‑quality software for education and electronic health record products. The Senior Quality Test Engineer II leads performance and automation testing strategy, designs and executes complex automated and load tests, and collaborates with product, engineering and operations to ensure releases meet quality standards. Bengaluru office, on‑site work model, flexible hours and supportive wellbeing initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Lead development and execution of performance and automation testing solutions
• Research, select and implement testing tools to enhance capability and efficiency
• Configure and maintain testing environments and tools
• Collaborate with product, engineering and operations to plan testing and ensure quality standards
• Report issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and document findings
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practice adoption
• Maintain frameworks for record retention and audit support
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to enhance overall QA processes

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years Quality Test Engineering experience
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong QA methodologies knowledge
• Process improvement expertise
• Advanced written and verbal communication
• Complex automated and performance testing skills
• Understanding of budgeting basics
• Research and tool evaluation abilities
