Custom Software Engineer

About the role

As a Custom Software Engineer at Accenture, you will serve as a Solution Architect on Kinaxis implementation projects, engaging client stakeholders to perform fit-gap analysis, design and document solutions, and guide configuration teams. Day-to-day work involves coding and enhancing components, collaborating across business lines, product, and technology teams to define roadmaps, and driving designs that balance business efficiency, system performance, security, and compliance. The role is based in Bengaluru, Indore, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, or Pune and requires openness to short- and long-term travel.

What you’ll do

• Play the solution architect role on Kinaxis implementation projects
• Engage with client stakeholders to understand requirements, carry out fit-gap analysis, design and document solutions, and guide the configuration team
• Drive conversations with client business stakeholders
• Work with development functions, business lines, product teams, and technology stakeholders to derive the technology future state and roadmaps
• Drive designs that balance business efficiency, system performance, security, and compliance while conforming to architectural and security standards

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience implementing Kinaxis and similar SCM software solutions in client environments
• Must have played a Solution Architect role in at least 2 Kinaxis implementation projects
• Strong functional knowledge in Rapid Response applications: Supply Planning, Capacity Planning (Constraints), DRP, MPS, Demand Planning, and Order Fulfillment
• Strong design and software configuration skills with good command over data models
• Knowledge of integrating Kinaxis with SAP/Oracle/legacy systems
• Implementation experience configuring Demand Planning and Supply Planning modules
• Completed Rapid Response Author Level 2 certification
• 15 years of full-time education (BTech/BE/MCA)

Nice to have

• Relevant supply chain certifications like CSCP will be a plus
• Rapid Response Solution Consultant / Solution Architect certification will be a plus
