Business Development Associate

About the role

The RB-LS: Business Development Associate role at Axis Bank Ltd. operates within the Liability Sales department, which focuses on liability acquisition, assets, and retail forex business across branches in India. The officer sales position drives business by sourcing retail and corporate deposits, salary and non-salary accounts, trust accounts, and forex business to grow the bank's retail book. Day-to-day, the associate identifies sales opportunities for bank and third-party products, manages existing customer relationships, achieves monthly sales targets, tracks engagement via CRM, and ensures KYC/SEBI compliance. The role is based in Cuttack and involves daily customer reach-outs and travelling.

What you’ll do

• Identify sales opportunities for both the Bank and third-party products by acquiring new customers and building new relationships
• Manage business relations with existing customers to increase the depth of existing relationships
• Achieve sales targets as assigned by the organization monthly as per Grade Matrix (BDE, Officer and AM Sales)
• Record and track all engagement activities through the CRM system
• Comply with KYC/SEBI rules, regulations, and legislation governing the financial services industry
• Handle customer queries to ensure customer satisfaction
• Sell banking and investment products and services to customers based on their needs
• Conduct daily customer reach-outs and travelling

What you’ll bring

• Graduate degree
• 1 to 3 years of experience
• Excellent lead generation and conversion skill
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work successfully as part of a team
• Good verbal and written communication in English and the local language
• High sales orientation to consistently meet sales targets
• Recommended model device (OPPO, VIVO, MI, 1+, Samsung, Realme) with Android version 10/11/12/13
