Microsoft 365 Systems Administrator

About the role

Skybound Wealth Management seeks a Microsoft 365 Systems Administrator in Mumbai to manage the Group’s technology environment across international offices. The role involves day-to-day administration of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Entra ID, alongside operational ownership of IT processes like onboarding and governance. This position combines hands-on technical troubleshooting with process improvement and vendor management.

What you’ll do

• Administer the Group’s Microsoft 365 environment, including users, licenses, and permissions
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID identities, groups, roles, and access controls
• Support and administer Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive
• Administer Exchange Online, including mailboxes, distribution groups, and mail flow rules
• Use PowerShell for bulk administration, reporting, and automation tasks
• Own IT elements of employee onboarding, role changes, and offboarding
• Maintain IT documentation, audit records, and support internal/external audits
• Coordinate with outsourced IT providers on infrastructure and endpoint matters

What you’ll bring

• 4–7+ years’ experience in Microsoft 365 or systems administration
• Strong hands-on experience administering a Microsoft 365 tenant
• Practical knowledge of Exchange Online administration
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory
• Practical experience using PowerShell for administration and automation
• Experience managing users, groups, permissions, licences and access controls
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive
• Experience managing operational IT processes such as onboarding and offboarding

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
• Knowledge of Conditional Access, MFA, and Microsoft Defender
• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph or Graph PowerShell
• Experience with email security platforms like Mimecast
• Understanding of networking and firewall technologies
• Experience in regulated environments or financial services
• Relevant Microsoft certifications
