About the role

Power Systems Engineering team at GE Vernova develops advanced digital solutions for HVDC system design and studies. The Systems Engineer creates Python‑based automation, integrates AI/ML models such as LLMs and RAG agents with simulation tools like PSCAD and PSS/E, and bridges engineering and data science teams to improve study efficiency. Noida, India (Hybrid 3 days onsite), relocation assistance provided.

What you’ll do

• Perform HVDC system studies and reliability analyses
• Develop and maintain automated simulation workflows in Python
• Design and implement AI/ML solutions, including LLM and RAG agents
• Integrate AI models with engineering simulation tools
• Collaborate with cross‑functional global teams to align AI insights with power system principles

What you’ll bring

• 3-5 years HVDC/FACTS system studies or AI/ML applications
• Strong Python programming for automation and data pipelines
• Experience with simulation tools (PSCAD, PSS/E, DigSilent, MATLAB, RTDS)
• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks, LLMs, RAG and agent‑based systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
