Business Execution Consultant

About the role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant (AVP) to lead complex, cross-functional business initiatives within Derivatives Operations and Settlements. Day-to-day, the role leads end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives and change programs, manages multiple concurrent workstreams, partners with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements and success metrics, drives issue resolution and escalation management, and establishes program governance and executive communications. The position is based in Hyderabad, India.

What you’ll do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives and change programs across Derivatives Operations and Settlements
• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring timely execution of project milestones, deliverables, and business objectives
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, priorities, implementation plans, and success metrics
• Drive issue resolution and escalation management to minimize execution risks and delivery impacts
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior leaders across Operations, Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Finance
• Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, project reporting, and executive communications
• Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks, dependencies, and control concerns
• Evaluate existing business processes and recommend efficiencies, automation opportunities, and control enhancements

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline
• 7+ years of experience in Business Execution, Program Management, Project Management, Operations Change Management, or Strategic Delivery
• Experience supporting Capital Markets, Derivatives, Financial Markets Operations, Settlement Operations, or related business functions
• Strong project management and execution capabilities with a proven track record of managing complex initiatives
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working in cross-functional and global team environments
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
