Senior Manager, Cloud Ops

About the role

Platform Support at Saviynt leads the design, implementation, operation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure for its AI-powered identity platform. The role oversees monitoring of SaaS applications on Kubernetes, AWS and Azure, manages alerts and incidents via FreshService, and drives continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives. Based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work model, the manager leads a team of cloud engineers, collaborates with SRE and development teams, and ensures compliance with security policies.

What you’ll do

• Oversee monitoring of SaaS applications and underlying cloud infrastructure
• Manage lifecycle of alerts, incidents, and service requests in FreshService
• Develop and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, and knowledge base
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce incident rates and improve service request turnaround
• Collaborate with engineering, development, and SRE teams to troubleshoot and implement preventative measures
• Ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs, generating regular operational metrics reports
• Lead on‑call escalations and provide leadership during critical incidents
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate performance of cloud engineering team

What you’ll bring

• 10-12 years overall IT infrastructure experience
• 5+ years managing enterprise cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proven leadership of cloud migration and modernization projects
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep)
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in cloud security, governance, FinOps and disaster recovery
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator)
