About the role

KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services LLP is hiring a Senior Associate for the KDNI Pillar 2 team in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The role focuses on international and corporate tax advisory, including preparation of Pillar 2 GloBE Information returns, corporate income tax returns, and related workpapers and tax adjustment calculations. The position requires CA/CPA/ACCA qualification with 2-4 years of experience and involves international travel.

What you’ll do

• Prepare Pillar 2 (Global Minimum Tax) GloBE Information returns for various countries
• Prepare corporate income tax returns for various countries including the US
• Prepare workpapers and filings for Pillar 2
• Prepare tax adjustment calculations
• Research international and local tax requirements, US GAAP, and IFRS topics efficiently and effectively
• Operate as an independent contributor and collaborate within teams on larger projects
• Deliver results within tight deadlines and demanding situations while maintaining quality and ethical standards
• Adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours, work environments, and locations

What you’ll bring

• CA / CPA / ACCA with 2-4 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university, or CA intermediate with 4-5 years of experience
• International/corporate tax experience with a public accounting or advisory firm or similar organization
• Experience in Transfer Pricing or CbCR preparation
• Understanding of international and local tax requirements, US GAAP, and IFRS framework
• Ability to read and understand financial statements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel internationally
