About the role
BPS OPS is hiring a BPM Technical Architect in India to design and deliver scalable Pega applications using the Constellation architecture. The role involves architecting complex workflows and case life cycles, leading integrations with external systems via REST, SOAP, and messaging queues, and providing technical leadership through mentorship, code reviews, and best-practice enforcement. The architect will collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications, optimize performance using Pega diagnostic tools, and support testing and documentation.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable applications using Pega's Constellation architecture and UI components.
- Architect and build complex workflows, case life cycles, and decisioning logic to meet business requirements.
- Lead the design and implementation of integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and messaging queues, and troubleshoot complex integration issues.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce Pega best practices.
- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver effective solutions.
- Analyze and optimize application performance using Pega's diagnostic tools (Tracer, PAL, Log Analyzer) and implement performance best practices.
- Develop and execute unit tests and support system integration and user acceptance testing to ensure stability and reliability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions.
What you’ll bring
- Must hold a valid Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Pega application development.
- Proven, hands-on experience building applications using the Pega Constellation design system and its components (Views, App Studio development).
- Extensive experience with Pega integration capabilities, including creating and consuming REST and SOAP services, file listeners, and email listeners.
