About the role
UX team at NetApp supports hundreds of engineers across products. The Senior UI/UX Designer leads design and research across multiple themes, creates high-fidelity prototypes in Figma, and leverages AI tools such as Copilot and Figma Make to improve productivity and quality. Bangalore, India, on-site, relocation available.
What you’ll do
- Define design concepts and guide feature themes
- Create high‑fidelity prototypes and mockups
- Lead ideation sessions and present design decisions
- Influence day‑to‑day design and research work across teams
- Quantify AI impact on productivity and quality
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and IP safeguards
- Mentor junior designers and foster design best practices
- Maintain and evolve design systems
What you’ll bring
- 8 years enterprise product design experience
- Portfolio demonstrating advanced experiences
- Proficiency with Figma for low to high fidelity prototypes
- Demonstrated AI tools usage to improve outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Leadership of ideation sessions and design rationale
- Cross‑functional collaboration across themes
- Experience maintaining and evolving design systems
